Align Solutions Ltd ("we", "us") is an engineering firm based in Norwich, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to submit through the contact form:
- Full name and email address (required)
- Company, phone number, service interest and message (optional)
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind, and does not collect data in the background.
How your enquiry is processed
Contact form submissions are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form-processing service acting as our data processor. FormSubmit's handling of your data is described in the FormSubmit privacy policy. Where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards apply.
If you email us directly, your message is handled in our business email system.
Why we process your data
We process enquiry data to respond to you and, where an enquiry leads to work, to deliver it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
What we never do
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
- We do not add you to mailing lists without your explicit consent.
- We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting work, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@alignsolutions.co.uk.
If you're not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our data practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
